Built around exam performance.
Diagnostic-first
A short initial session surfaces your weak areas so every hour of study moves the needle — no guessing where to start.
Targeted remediation
Every question is mapped to an ACS code. Missed questions become code-level study queues — not random re-runs of the same bank.
Pinpoint your weak areas
Our adaptive engine acts like radar — sweeping your performance data to surface the ACS codes costing you points, so every study session moves the needle.
Deliberate review
Return to weak codes, bookmarks, and AKTR-driven gaps without starting from scratch.
Timed simulations
Mirror official exam pacing and constraints. After every simulation you receive an AKTR report that breaks down exactly which codes to review next.
Identify the specific gaps costing you points.
Altitude maps every missed question to its ACS or LSC code and tracks mastery per topic over time. The radar surfaces exactly where you're strong and where you need focused reps — so you stop re-studying what you already know.

Private, instrument, commercial, CFI, remote pilot — all from one surface.

Study by weakness
Diagnostics identify the codes that actually cost you points, then build a focused queue.

Prove you're ready
Timed sims and score trends show readiness before you book the real test.
Common questions.
Is Altitude affiliated with the FAA?
No. Altitude is an independent study tool that aligns content to FAA Airman Certification Standards. We are not endorsed by or affiliated with the FAA.
What exams are supported?
We currently support Private Pilot (PAR) and Remote Pilot / Part 107 (UAG). Instrument Rating (IRA) and Commercial Pilot (CAX) are coming next, with more certificates being added.
Are the practice questions the same as the real exam?
Practice questions are aligned to official ACS codes and FAA references. The FAA periodically changes question wording and includes unscored validation items, so no external tool can replicate the exact test.
How is this different from other question banks?
Most banks focus on volume — thousands of random questions. Altitude focuses on remediation: identifying your weak codes, drilling those specifically, and tracking readiness over time.
Is Altitude free?
We offer a free tier to explore the platform. Full access to timed simulations, diagnostics, and review modes requires an account.
